Living and working in Denver, Colorado, we are surrounded by new, old, and creative local breweries. Craft brewing is a large part of our culture here in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. While we design a lot of weddings in the mountains and around these local places, we would love to do more brewery inspired events! Here are some great ideas that we are excited to try. Hops are such a wonderful plant that is primarily used for the production of beer. However, we love the idea of using hops in a bouquet. Look at all the texture that it adds! Another great way to incorporate beer or wine into a wedding is using barrels as a decor element. You will see more ideas for having your reception at a local brewery below! From using bottle caps as escort place settings to having a barrel for cards, both of these are great ways to add little brewing elements to your brewery wedding theme. When we create chalkboard signs for our clients, we love to add little illustrations and creative hand writing.
I love these two chalkboard signs for adding a touch of beer to your wedding day signage! Hoppily ever after! When looking into a wedding day venue, consider a place that will fit your personalities. If you are a beer lover, consider saying your nuptials in your favorite brewery! These industrial places can be great blank canvases for adding in beautiful wedding reception elements. We love combining rustic spaces with modern elements. In our warehouse, we have an entire collection of farm tables, modern chairs, lanterns and any other accessory we can think of to add sparkle to your brewery venue space. Alexan Events is putting on a wedding in November at the Larimer Social in Denver, Colorado. Our couple has very strong ties to the brewing community. So, naturally, we are going to be adding these growlers to their tables as table numbers! I am so excited to see these in action! Not only can you add hops to a wedding day bridal bouquet, you can easily add them to a boutonniere or a table runner. Hops can only be found in August. So, it can be tricky if you wedding is being held at a different time of year. Consider using dried hops or artificial hops in your wedding day florals if this is the case. Cheers!
