Ok. I just spent the last 30 minutes collecting pictures for this post and now I’m positively starving. Sliders are A-mazing. Krystal Burger was way ahead of the game…I don’t even know if we have Krystal Burger here in Denver but I can remember pulling into the drive-thru as a kid in North Carolina and a car full of kids ordering, 20, 25 sliders? And then we would devour them. Perhaps I’m tattletaling on myself…or bringing about a perfect opportunity to get on a soap box and say what a delicious shame it was that I was allowed to eat like that. DELICIOUS I tell you. However, we all long for those nights of total and pure indulgence in treats that we might not otherwise eat 20 at a time of. And that’s what sliders at weddings are for. Yummmmy.

I love these creative ways to serve them with fries. Seriously, these little guys are the perfect finger food. Have guests grab one on their way to their seats at the ceremony. Munch on a few different kinds during cocktail hour. Or, as you’ll see if you scroll down, have full bar that can be a fun food station at the reception dinner. OR (one more or) the best way to serve them is after 10pm. Enough said.

Use little skewers as fun ways to label what it is guests are about to dive into or as a fun decorative piece for you to incorporate a unique saying, your initials or wedding logo.

Aaaand, who doesn’t love burgers and beer?! In the state of Colorado, we love both! Serving craft-beer samplers with sliders is such a great cocktail party option. Do it at your engagement party or rehearsal dinner though, because serving something this heavy before a reception dinner might be a bit much. OR (just loving on the Or’s today) include the samplers next to your slider bar at your reception so everyone can enjoy a unique pairing. Suggestion: use craft beer from the state in which you’re getting married. Support local businesses!

So if you’re trying to change up the whole burgers at a wedding reception concept, fear not. Sliders are not only a solution, they are THE solution. Just like a restaurant has a myriad of options on their menu, you can provide guests with a myriad of options for their burger eating experience at your wedding. Love it!
