Hello and Happy We hope you all had a wonderful New Year celebration with friends, family and plenty of bubbly! We’re thrilled to be moving into the New Year, working with so many wonderful Brides and Grooms for their weddings – it’s going to be a great year! We’re getting things started with a little decor inspiration. Maybe some of you have this laying around your home, leftover from the holidays, but truth be told, Bay Leaf Garland doesn’t have to be limited to December. It is the perfect decor element at a wedding. And, in my mind, the more the merrier Bay Leaf Garlands can fit in perfectly at all three major events at a wedding – from the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception. At your ceremony, it can run down your aisle, alone or accented with other soft flowers. Or it can be used on your altar structure. As in the picture below, it is a lovely way to soften an indoor space or otherwise harsh structure.
Our personal favorite way to use it is draped across the front of a bar or swagged along the backside of chairs. I love the bay draped around the top of that chandelier – with the industrial light bulbs, it’s the perfect soft modern touch to a very natural setting. My dream is to do a bay leaf garland along the center of long banquet tables like this – what a perfect touch of greenery without going overboard! Drape bay along the Bride and Groom’s chairs to give them a little flourish and distinction! Cascade other flowers or jasmine for an amazing aroma and look. So get your swag on and use Bay Leaf to warm up and decorate your aisle, chairs, tables or chandeliers!
