If you take a quick look around at weddings from today, it’s no surprise that an eclectic and vintage inspired decor theme is all the rage. And I don’t see why not. I love it! This look is easy to achieve, too, if you’ve got some spare time on your hands or the desire to delve into a consignment shop, salvage yard or something similar. It can also be as simple as going through some family heirlooms or attic space and finding some old treasures and SAVE you money!! Really anything goes, and can be found if you look hard enough but these are some of my favorites for you to watch out for.
So much character by themselves or grouped with a bunch of other misfits. I’m obsessed.
Random finds like frames, glassware, canisters, suitcases, clocks, you name it! These make for and amazing tablescape. I personally think it is a blast to sift through the china from past generations but of course finding 200 sets of glassware in great condition can be a task. If you still want the look, visit Sugarbaker & Toad on Facebook. Just as a genius would, she carefully created her own wedding collection and now rents it out to others who want the same affect, without the tedious process of finding every piece.
Unique bottles and jars.
Varied milk glass.
Old window panes and doors.
Perfect for escort cards, picture frames, menus….
Just plain anything that is awesome.
