Today’s feature floral was inspired by my excitement for spring that has really sprung around Denver AND the upcoming holiday weekend… Easter! A fun and springy holiday that is the perfect reason to dress up your dinner table with some bright and cheery centerpieces. And what bright and cheery flower is perfect for this? The Daffodil. Whenever I see Daffodils sprouting up around town I know it’s officially spring! Even better though, you can use them in your wedding and event florals and get a little something unique since they are not seen a ton in the wedding world. For instance, bouquets. Just like tulips they have long, thin stems, allowing them to blend into a bouquet easily and with a bright pop of yellow that is so popular these days.
Daffodils Are Self Sufficient, as Well, and Look Great Standing All by Themselves in a Bunch.
You can get them in sizes that range from 2-5 inches in diameter and in a variety of white, yellow or a combination of both and their diverse look allows them to look great in any sort of vessel, whether it be a colored piece of glass, a rustic basket or a sleek vase. In a bunch or stem by stem.
I Also Love This More Natural Look, in Which Potted Daffodils Are the Focus and They Aren’t Cut at All.
You can’t go wrong with a Daffodil centerpiece or accent in your wedding or everyday. It’s impossible to look at them and not be happy and you’ve got to take advantage while they’re easily accessible this season! Hopefully you have an exceptionally springy and fun holiday weekend and we’ll see you on Monday!
