One of my favorite production steps of our weddings are the escort card tables. I created one similar to the examples below and I wanted to share with you this trend and how simple yet adorable it is! These truly don’t take too much time or effort to create you just need the right materials and you can make them as big or small as you would like.
Simple printed escort cards can be made by your invitation designer to have the same style and font used throughout your wedding day.Add a pop of color by having your calligrapher write your guests names. To save money on the amount of escort cards have one card made per couple. You can either use fake grass or real grass and you easily push the cards down into the grass to hold them in place. But if it is windy you might want to consider stands as shown to the left. Here are some other fun ideas, we are actually doing something similar to the one on the left this weekend! To add height to moss in a box instead of buying more product fill the bottom of the box with bubble wrap, tissue paper, or floral foam if you have it! What a cute display using a frame with moss in the back! It would also be easy to transport to your wedding location. Here are some fun cards to add a pop of color! You can easily buy an inexpensive tray and spray paint it any color you would like. This can also be used at a bridal shower or fun get together. They are simple and easy to make but if you are like me an have slight OCD about straight lines that just might be the most difficult aspect to perfectly line the cards up in uneven grass. There are so many ways to make this your own so be sure to talk with your planner about fun ways to keep this within the design of your flowers and decor!
