Allow me to introduce you to the new Mr. and Mrs. Challis, aka Cris and Scott, the sweetest and strongest couple you could ever meet. After 11 years together and braving the ups and downs that life will throw at you, they came together to get married on a perfect summer day in City Park. Literally, the most perfect day you could ask for, and they deserve every bit of it! Gino Siller captured the day for us. Have a look!Cris started the day with her mom at the Brown Palace while Scott got ready with his family (and his adorable puppies) at home. That was the theme of the day; friends, family and lots of love. The ceremony was held in the City Park Meadow which boasts views of downtown Denver, the mountains, City Park Lake and the Museum of Nature & Science and like I said before, the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. The flowers were in full bloom, the lake was sparkling and Father Frank Gold delivered, as always, the most beautifully personalized and heartfelt ceremony.
From the start, Cris had envisioned a coral and navy blue color palette with lots of modern touches. Acrylic chairs and, of course, orchids, added the perfect touch of the modern edge that they love and that works perfectly in the museum. As a favor, Cris found Lotus flower tea lights as an ode to her Filipino heritage. The night was full of laughter and tears, the best of their friends and family and of course, Cris and Scott’s long time love.Cris and Scott, it was such a joy to work with you to make your wedding weekend come to life and we wish you all the best in happiness, health and joy.
