Happy Happy Friday! So many things to be excited for this coming weekend – The Derby! Cinco de Mayo! Warm Weather! But most of all, we are excited to share something especially lovely with you, that although launched back in February with a fabulous party at Anna Be Bridal Boutique in the Highlands, we finally have pictures to display on our blogLast December, Betsy Marr, the editor of Denver’s Reign Magazine, approached us with the challenge to create an styled-shoot spread to help Reign launch its Bridal & Wedding Brand: Aisle Style. The concept came from thisinspiration board, Ikat Glam, which was based around the gorgeous artwork you see in the second row of theboard…So from there, we ran with it. A custom tissue paper runner was created, we utilized one of our gorgeous Edwin Tables, and we went all out with gold accents wherever we could! We picked the super lovely Boettcher Mansion as our shoot spot and set to it.Creating this backdrop has been a dream for a long time, so not only were we pumped to have the opportunity to bring it to life, we were thrilled with how photographers Frances Marron and Julia Timmer captured the magic of the cascading strands of light set over the stone wall.
And let’s just go ahead and put it out there that we had the MOST gorgeous models. Seriously.Maura Gauthier from The Paper Guppy created lovely place cards and fun menu to fit the table scape. The Bride’s three looks come from two of our favorite designers, carried by Anna Be: Monique Lhuillier & Tara LaTour. It was pretty much impossible to pick a favorite! We were inspired by a less formal environment (stone, wood, forest) contrasted against regal gold, elegance and pops of bright bold colors. However, we didn’t want it to seem desperate and instead wanted it to reflect an almost Old Hollywood feel.
Mountain Glamour, you could say…
Floral design also exuded the pops of colors set against both natural and gold accents. So dreamy…The groom wore Tom Ford from Neiman Marcus and the bridesmaid donned a number of designer frocks from Nordstrom. All shoes and accessories were from either Nordstrom or Neiman Marcus. What we’re most proud of from this shoot is it’s applicability to so many themes, styles, and seasons. This would look lovely in a ballroom, under a tent, in a barn, warmed up with heavy candle glow during winter, or with more pink flowers during summer. Rich. Cozy. Glamorous. Intimate. As the magazine states, this shoot was all about “Bright hues, golden glows, tabletops that dazzle and sophisticated silhouettes. It’s the mountain wedding, reinvented for the modern bride.”
And we loved every minute of being part of it.
