February in Boulder, CO can be a snowy, winter wonderland. However, on this magical day, the sun was shining and the weather could not have been more perfect. We are pleased to introduce Lindsey & Kevin! Married on 2.20.2016 at the St. Julien Hotel in Boulder, Colorado. Lindsey & Kevin were a fun couple. We had a blast making their decor and wedding dreams come true. The first look is always a treat for us. We especially love Lindsey’s hair and makeup. Liz from Beauty on Location is an amazing wedding hair and makeup stylist. Many of our clients choose to go with Liz and she nails it every time! Nevertheless, it is easy to enhance this natural beauty that Lindsay has. This look is romantic, simple and understated. Freesia, roses and dusty miller dominated the bridal bouquet. These flowers are so fragrant and romantic! As a Boulder wedding florist, we loved creating this simple, understated bouquet. It is all in the tiny details! The simple beauty in each of Lindsey’s choices were classically stunning.
When guests arrived to the lawn of the St. Julien Hotel for the wedding ceremony, they were greeted by simple white chairs, hand written mirrored signs and the beautiful Boulder Colorado Flatiron Mountains. Mirrors are a bit more romantic than chalkboards and create the same hand-written effect. Besides, the photos are pretty darn cute too! The wedding ceremony music was performed by the Cheza Quartet based out of Denver, Colorado. The gorgeous music complimented the fashionable wedding fur cowl that Lindsey wore during the ceremony. Kevin was pretty certain that he wanted a wedding bourbon bar. So, we created one! Complete with antlers, wood chalkboard signs and cigar boxes, this bourbon bar was a masculine affair. The couple also chose signature wedding cocktails. His choice: and Old Fashioned. Her choice: a Ruffino, Prosecco and St. Germain cocktail. Delicious! We dressed up the already elegant St. Julien Hotel Ballroom with simple, yet large white flower arrangements, plenty of clear glassware, and candles. The wedding lighting and drapery created such a romantic feel inside the reception area. Roses, freesia and willow dominated the floral design.
They were so fragrant and lush. We completed the look with our wedding furniture rentals such as a white bar, farm tables and white lounge areas spread throughout the space. Want to see more of what we can offer for your space? Click on our rental link here. Lindsey and Kevin chose Soul X as their reception band. We could not have been happier with their choice! Soul X is a band that not only delivers the music that your guests can’t stop dancing to, but they are also a performance themselves. When you hire Soul X, you are bringing the concert to your wedding! As Boulder wedding planners, not only do we love making the wedding a reality, but we also love designing the spaces that your guests will experience at your wedding. These lounges are completely customizable. We loved mixing a rustic chic look with modern elements. When piecing together a space, we think you can’t go wrong by mixing and matching styles. At the end of the night, Lindsey and Kevin’s guests could satisfy their cravings by sampling macaroons, chocolate covered strawberries and a sweet wedding cake. Guests could fill up their own macaroon boxes to take on the road after the wedding. Talk about a beautiful wedding dessert display! Thank you to everyone involved in making Lindsey and Kevin’s wedding dream a reality. We wish them the best of luck in all of life’s adventures together!
