As you will probably notice if you follow any wedding inspiration blogs, there are some subjects that just beg to be revisited from time to time. Table numbers are definitely one of those subjects. There are just so many options when it comes to table numbers. Because they are such an integral part of your table top design, you should take some time to come up with something that speaks to your aesthetic and your personality. Some of our favorite table numbers from our clients are those that are a nod to their passion. If you are an avid outdoorsman, try taking some vintage posters and giving them to an Illustrator guru to remove some wording and add some table numbers like we did at this summer 2010 events. (PS we will be blogging this event next week, so check back. It is delicious!). Or perhaps you and your fiancé love to cycle. Finding a creative way to bring that to the tabletop could be a challenge, but in a table number it is perfect!
Wood and all things natural are huge trends right now. But when you pair the texture element of wood with the softness of a garden wedding , you have a perfect marriage and a timeless look. Another super cute and personal table number is from a client that was a horse enthusiast. Over the years she had had so many horses that meant so much to her and we were able to find pictures of all of them. They became her table names. It was a fantastic nod to her past and her passion. Cutouts are always a hit and they can be coupled with whatever works for your tabletop! Frames and unique stands are other options that you should consider if you do not necessarily want something other than a number. As you can see, this subject is large and I really have a hard time editing things down to just 8-10 pictures..So no doubt there will be another post about this in the future. Until then, take some time to consider your table number design so that you can really make your tabletop cohesive!
