Every now and then we get those special couples who walk through our door and immediately explain to us how they would LOVE to have a beach wedding. Of course, we welcome the idea with open arms and creatively come up with a decor plan that perfectly suites this sea side event. The ideas are usually chic, understated, and styled with a muted color scheme. While it would be easy to do an “over-the-top nautical” theme, it is our aim to make these nuptials as special as the couples themselves. Today I will highlight how to put together a sleek, yet locationally themed, beach wedding.
The Frosted Petticoat
The elegance of this dress right away makes a statement that this isn’t just a casual day at the beach. I love how classically this couple is dressed.
Style Me Pretty
Signage- beach wood is perfect for signs. It represents it’s surroundings and still gets the job accomplished; give directions and look super cute.
Classic whites are perfect for a beach wedding. Not only does it look flawless with the sandy beach, it doesn’t take away from how breath taking the environment is.
Just because you are at the beach doesn’t mean you can’t incorporate elements of who you are a couple! Be sure to not let the elements over power you own personality.
White Loft Studios
Pick colors that are matching to the scenery. The thought that a beach wedding must have tropical, bold colored flowers couldn’t be more wrong. The classics are always a good choice. I love how this table top pulls colors from all spectrums of the location. Blue for the water, brown for the sand, and muted pinks for the warmth of the sun.
